Students should do temporary accommodation registration in the local police station within 24 hours after checking in guest houses, hotels, inns, hostels and school dorms, or accommodating at the house of a Chinese resident or another foreigner, or moving into a new place. Students should do temporary accommodation registration again before they apply for the change or extension of their Residence Permit.

Original passport; copy of personal information, photo, valid Visa or Residence Permit and entry stamp pages; completed Temporary Accommodation Registration Form
