As the globe becomes increasingly interconnected, one thing is clear: access to quality English language is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. In a world where languages unite us, College of International Education (CIE) at Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) is proud to introduce CIE United Volunteers Association (CUVA) that brings together passionate individuals who share a love for English and a commitment to helping others.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to learn and grow, and we are here to provide that opportunity in a vibrant and supportive environment. Our approach to teaching English is all about making the learning experience enjoyable and engaging. We do this by incorporating interesting classes, songs, dances and good times!

What we do

Our mission is simple: to provide young learners at NUIST with immersive experiences that foster fluency, confidence, and a love for the English language through:

Direct English tutoring to help children develop their language skills.

Organizing engaging English-based educational programs and events that promote learning and cultural exchange.

Supporting non-native English speakers through conversation and language practice to help them become more confident and effective communicators.
