Applying for an insurance claim as an international student can be straightforward if you follow a structured approach. This article entails the essential steps to guide you through this process smoothly.
NOTE: This insurance claim process is only valid for students who bought the 600 yuan insurance package.
Step 1: Download the app “平安好生活”.
Step 2: Open the app and select “我的” then “我的理赔”.
Step 3: Select “非车险理赔” and then click “点我报案”.
Step 4: Fill in personal information as requested. (Reminder: 1. The passport name should be exactly the same as the name in your passport; 2. No space between your first name and last name (e.g., if your name is ‘ZHANG SAN’, please enter ‘ZHANGSAN’);3. All caps.)
Step 4.1: When it comes to selecting the incident type, there are several cases. If choosing “Ordinary Illness”, please follow the diagram for operation.
If choosing “Ordinary Accident”, please follow the diagram for operation.
Step 6: Upload supporting materials. (Reminder: if you do not have the statement of expense on hand, please upload the medical invoice again.) See examples in Appendix.
Step 7: The application for insurance claim has been completed.
