In the festive spirit of the summer holidays, the College of International Education (CIE) Sports Department hosted the delightful Summer Vacation Fun Mixed Games for international students residing on campus. The event took place over two days, August 14 and 15, at the Middle Campus Ground, inviting students to immerse themselves in a fabric of happiness and friendship. 19 groups, each with four members enthusiastically gathered to participate in this summer event.

Day No. 1

On Day 1, the games included balloon volleyball, where teams aimed to score points by knocking a balloon into the opponent's court, and pop pass basket catch, which challenged teams to catch as many balls as possible. Other activities, like balance on the spoon, tested participants' coordination as they raced while balancing a small water balloon on a spoon. The short-run also involved a relay race with water balloons, emphasizing both speed and precision.

Day No.2

On Day 2, the games introduced even more challenges, such as Three Brick Walking, where players navigated a course by stepping only on bricks, and Hoop Head, which required players to catch balls using hoops attached to their heads without using their hands. The Throw Ball on Stamp game tested accuracy, with players aiming to hit a stamp after a single bounce, while Water Sponge Run involved soaking sponges and transferring water to a bucket, emphasizing teamwork and strategy. Each game was organized by dedicated volunteers, ensuring a fun and competitive atmosphere for all participants.

The teams' rankings were determined by carefully tallying the scores from each game. Points were awarded based on the teams' performance in each event. From these results, we identified the top three teams that demonstrated exceptional skill and teamwork in the Summer Vacation Fun Mixed Games:

1. GONE IN 69 SECONDS

2. “BANGLADESH 2.0”

3. “TEAM TIGER”

The Sports Department extends heartfelt gratitude to all participants, organizers, volunteers, and the audience for making the Summer Vacation Fun Mixed Games an unforgettable success. As we bid farewell to this remarkable event and look forward to future gatherings, let us continue to promote the values of friendship and sportsmanship. Until then, keep your spirits high, and may the joy of sports continue to unite and inspire us all.
