Environmental pollution and meteorological disasters have become the common challenges faced by the mankind. The International Association of Meteorological Education and Sciences (IAMES) was established in December 2020, which was initiated by Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (NUIST) and supported by more than 30 colleges, universities and scientific research institutions from over 20 countries. IAMES is established to stimulate meteorological education and research, promote scientific and technological innovation, share high-quality platform resources, provide government policy advice, and enhance the ability of coordinating the responses to major scientific issues.
The 1st IAMES Conference, organized by IAMES and undertaken by School of Atmospheric Sciences of NUIST, will be held in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province on 26th – 28th September, 2021. Experts, scholars, and graduate students interested in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Science, Geography, Marine Science, Ecology, and other related disciplines are welcomed.
The Conference will be held in a hybrid form (both online and offline). Well-known experts and scholars in related research field are invited to give keynote speeches. In this conference, hot topics on global environmental change will be discussed deeply.
