Article 1 Applicants
Self-supporting degree students.
Article 2 Contents of the review
1. Morality performances: abide by Chinese laws and regulations, observe regulations and rules of the university, show respects to teachers, have a harmonious relationship with classmates;
2. Academic records: perform well in the exams and assessments of all the courses in the first semester and perform well in the second semester;
3. Academic attitudes: attend classes on time with good attendance rate, ask for excused absences for illness or important affairs, be diligent and industrious and receive good comments from course teachers or supervisors;
4. Activity performances: take an active part in various activities inside and outside the campus.
Article 3 Review Procedures
1. The scholarship is assessed every May or June ;
2. Applicants shall ask for The Application Form of NUIST Longshan Category B Scholarship from College of International Students;
3. Applicants shall fill in the form and submit the form to CIS within the stipulated period;
4. The schools that students affiliated to shall present the transcripts and teachers’ or supervisors’ comment forms about studying attitude of scholarship students in Chinese medium; CIS shall provide the transcripts for students in English medium, and the affiliated school shall provide teachers’ or supervisors’ comment forms on applicants’ studying attitudes respectively;
5. The administrators of international students’ dorm shall present the comments of scholarship students’ daily performance in dorm and their observation of the dorm management regulations;
6. CIS takes the responsibility of collecting all the relevant materials, and fill in The Quantitative Performance Summary Table for NUIST Longshan Category B Scholarship Review. CIS calls the review meeting with the relevant schools whose students are included in the scholarship annual review to discuss about the marks and evaluation that the review group has given, puts forward the opinion of “Qualified” or “Unqualified”according to Measures on Assessing NUIST Longshan Category B Scholarship, and submits the review result and the report to the university;
7. With the university’s approval, CIS, as the specified executive department of annual review, takes the responsibility of informing scholarship students of the final results of NUIST Longshan Category B Scholarship review.
Article 4 The assessment is based on the comprehensive evaluation of all the self-supporting applicants.
