Report: AAD’s 2021 Simulated Academic Contest

The maiden edition of the Simulated International Academic Contest of NUIST successfully took place in the Reading Academy Building (Room C101) on Friday, December 24 2021.

The event began with a welcome address by the leader of the Student Development Committee (SDC) of the Academic Affairs Department (AAD), Mr. Isaac Sarfo (Kobby). His address was followed by an introductory speech given by AAD’s coordinator, Miss. Karen. She moved further to acknowledge the distinguished judges present, wishing participating teams the very best of luck.

Presentations of the various teams were shortly followed by questions or comments from the judges and audience. In summary, the judges present agreed the projects initiated by the various teams were of great relevance or importance to the University and society at large. They advised the teams to improve the scientific or methodological aspects of their projects, delving more into current literature to enhance the novelty and feasibility of the intended projects.
